Established in September 2012, Great Plains Property Management is a seven-person team led by a licensed Property Manager, Accounting Manager, Administrative Assistant, two full-time Maintenance Specialists, and two Residential Leasing Agents.

Chanelle Hurkes

Property Manager & Owner

Chanelle has been a licensed Property Manager since 2012, with five years of prior experience as an assistant to a Property Management team. She performs a wide range of property management functions with ease and competence, bringing communication, foresight, and maturity to every relationship.

She has successfully managed over 400 real estate units across more than 20 owners, and takes pride in treating every property as if it were her own — well-maintained, professionally managed, and positioned for long-term success.

Dennis “Woody” Woodward

Maintenance Specialist & Manager

Dennis has been a Maintenance Specialist for over 12 years and currently oversees every member of our maintenance team. He supervises maintenance requests, coordinates contractors, and handles on-site assessments personally.

He also coordinates unit turnovers — scheduling carpet installation, painting, basic cleaning, and repairs. Prior to real estate, Dennis spent 20 years at Carlson Distributing as a Sales Representative and Route Supervisor.
